Introduction

At Wiggle Wag Dog Daycare, we strive to offer a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for every dog entrusted to our care. These policies are designed to support transparency, protect the health and safety of all pets, and ensure a smooth experience for everyone involved. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Medical Emergencies & Veterinary Care
-
In the event your dog becomes ill or injured, we will make every reasonable effort to contact owner or the emergency contact before proceeding with care.
-
If neither can be reached in a timely manner, we reserve the right to obtain emergency veterinary services at owner's expense.
-
Owner is responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date contact and veterinary information, including your preferred veterinary clinic.
-
If the vet is unavailable or too far, we will use a trusted local clinic (e.g., Dixie Pet Clinic or VCA Animal Hospitals).
-
Common emergency situations may include vomiting, diarrhea, allergic reactions, cuts, limping, overheating, or signs of distress.
-
Wiggle Wag is not financially responsible for costs related to medical treatment unless it results directly from proven negligence or misconduct by our staff.
2. Health Monitoring & Communication

-
All dogs are briefly examined upon arrival for signs of illness, injury, or stress.
-
During their stay, dogs are monitored continuously for changes in behavior or health.
-
If your dog shows minor symptoms (e.g., low energy, limping, appetite changes), we will notify you and may monitor the situation for few hours unless it worsens.
-
We aim to keep you informed without alarming you unnecessarily.
3. General Health & Risk Awareness

-
While we maintain a clean, well-supervised, and structured facility, dogs are social animals and may occasionally experience minor injuries (scratches, sprains, sore paws) during play.
-
Some health conditions, such as kennel cough or stress-induced diarrhea, may not be immediately visible or may develop after departure.
-
Wiggle Wag is not liable for illnesses or injuries that arise from natural causes, normal play, or pre-existing conditions, provided all reasonable care has been given.
4. Behavioural Expectations & Management

-
All dogs must complete a temperament assessment (meet & greet) prior to admission.
-
Dogs showing signs of aggression, reactivity, or extreme anxiety may not be accepted into group care.
-
If your dog displays any concerning behavior during their stay, they may be removed from play, isolated, and you may be asked to pick them up immediately.
-
Wiggle Wag is not responsible for injuries caused by another dog unless negligence can be demonstrated.
-
Owners must disclose any known behavioral history, including prior incidents, sensitivities, or triggers.
5. Medications, Special Needs & Senior Dogs

-
We are happy to administer oral medications and support basic care routines as directed.
-
Wiggle Wag does not provide advanced medical care (e.g., injections, seizure monitoring, wound treatment).
-
Senior pets or those with mobility concerns are accepted on a case-by-case basis based on our ability to meet their needs.
-
Owners accept that complications may occur with senior or special needs dogs, and Wiggle Wag is not liable for health issues related to age, fragility, or underlying conditions.
6. Owner Responsibilities

By registering and using Wiggle Wag services, you agree to:

-

7. Personal Belongings

Please label all belongings. While we make every effort to return items in good condition, we are not responsible for lost, chewed, or damaged items such as beds, leashes, bowls, or toys.
8. Cancellations, Late Pickups & Unclaimed Dogs

-
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to qualify for a refund or credit.
-
Late pickups (beyond our agreed hours) may result in additional charges or overnight boarding.
-
If a dog is not picked up within 48 hours and no contact is made, we reserve the right to take appropriate action, including notifying animal services.
9. Media Consent

-
We regularly share photos and videos of dogs enjoying their time at Wiggle Wag on social media and marketing materials.
-
By using our services, you consent to this unless you notify us in writing that you prefer your dog not be featured.
10. Limitation of Liability

Injuries sustained during supervised play between dogs

Medical issues arising from pre-existing conditions or natural aging

Emotional or behavioral changes (e.g., separation anxiety, whining, appetite changes)
